GREY The Last nightshade
Grey is the main protagonist of the story. And the tale follows his life as the last Nightshade. He is a half-human, half-nightshade. Being the son of Natarra, a magical priestess from the future and the Harbinger of Death, the last ruler of the Nightshades, Grey has quite the legacy to live up to. He is tender hearted and kind, but not without his fair share of callous and cruel moments. His heart aches for the weak, but due to his upbringing as a Nightshade and the harsh environment it provided he holds no pity for those who don’t struggle to get stronger. He desires power above all else, and will stop at nothing to attain it. His thirst for revenge can be forgotten behind his soft smile and gentle eyes, but beneath all of it he is a ruthless monster, capable of bringing about the end. Grey is a survivor, and a fighter, hence his earned Nightshade name: The demon from the ashes, or as he will later be known, the Ashen Demon.
Verion kayn
A sophisticated and proud noble Lord of the Avalion kingdom, he works under the king as his executioner and ruler of the Crimson Keep. He walks proudly, with authority and enshrouds himself in confidence. He is the brother of Natarra, and the uncle of Grey. He is a magical wizard who wields various arcane magics. A champion across the lands of Avalion, he is feared by friend and foe alike but those who truly know him know that he is truly gentle and kind. He is always dressed in a blood red blazer, with the end tails sticking up like duck tails. Atop his head sits a regal black top hat and a singular golden monocle. Although he is quite stern and serious, he loves some mischief and fun.

The Crimson Keep
The stronghold of the North, and Verion Kayn’s domain. It is a central pillar in the Northern Most Parts of the Kingdom. It act’s as a barrier between the Kingdom of Twilight and the Avalion Kingdom.
The Ravaging Demon
Still heralded as the strongest being to have ever walked the earth, he is the grandfather of Grey and the father of the Harbinger of Death. He has lived centuries and he played a pivotal role in the founding of the Kingdom of Avalion. His wisdom matches his age, but his looks do not. Although wrinkles rest upon his face, youthfulness is still etched upon his golden skin. Wounds from wars previously fought cover his body, and show through his heart. He is hardened and tough, relentless in whatever the task may be. Unless it involves his Grandson. Then he turns into the biggest push over. Although he founded the race of Nightshades, he would burn it all to the ground if it meant keeping Grey safe.

Alice AVALION
The princess of the kingdom of Avalion and goddaughter of Verion Kayn. Her jovial and kindhearted nature combined with her quick wit and unusual wisdom make her a fantastic leader and an even better friend. She is recognized from afar by her stunning crystal blue eyes and gilded locks of crimson red. Although she possesses no powers herself, she will never shy from a fight or challenge and will die standing up for what she believes in. Although she loves her father and the nobles of the Avalion kingdom, she can’t help but wish she was free from her chains of duty and could live freely with Grey and Verion.
